For reasons of her own, Lena will no longer be playing Mayuri, but will be keeping Byakuya. Therefore, if everyone could remove the journal maskednmodified from their friends list (should she wish to use it for something else), it would be appreciated.

Mayuri will be listed as an available character, along with our regular list; if you know anyone who is interested in playing any of these remaining characters, please feel free to pimp us send them our way.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled RPing.

First of all, congrats and thanks to everyone who participated in our first-ever group log. We had some new applicants come in during the run of it, so if you didn't get the chance to jump in there, more logs will always be in the works. And, speaking of new logs...for those of you who have instructor-characters and want to post a class log, you're more than welcome to. There are already a few up anyway. But, for a bit more clarification and a brief reminder:

--Every instructor is encouraged to do their own log, but please let's not put them all up at once. It would be very difficult for every person to maintain posting in several log simultaneously. Besides, if one or two are going together and then finish, comments and events from a previous class can be referenced later. Actual dates and times are irrelevant, since the date/time of class will be posted in the log info.

--Also, for those of you with the student characters, please remember that you are taking six majors at once. This means that every student will be taking all the one-hour block classes. These are the intro courses and it's a good way for everyone to meet and get the chance to interact, students and faculty alike should the chance not arise later.

So...that's it for now (unless I've forgotten something). Shiro? Atsu? Anything?

No?

Alright.

If anyone else has any further comments, questions, or concerns, don't hesitate to leave a comment and we'll get back to you. Other than that, everyone keep up the good work and let's get writing. ♥

The welcoming banquet is officially over thank God. I'd like to express how proud I am of the new students we have this year. You are a promising batch, and I can say that with hard work and dedication, you will definitely achieve much in your learning days here.

And with that being said, I hereby announce the official start of classes for the second semester in the BFMI, beginning Monday next week. First week of class will mainly be introductory... but, that does not mean that anyone is allowed to slack off.

Lecturers, please ensure that you already have your class information up for your students' reference, and make yourself available for consultation at designated hours.

And students, it will be your responsibility to check up on class info, textbooks, assignments, exams, schedules and such that the teachers have put up.

Some other start-of-school caution to all residents of BFMI:
1) NO pets are allowed within school buildings.
2) NO heavy magic allowed outside of class-time.

And with that being said, I bid all of you a good and fruitful semester.

Alright, everyone. In one of the previous posts here we touched on power levels and picking the order of abilities and such. Well, not to make things insanely complicated or anything, but we've got an even more detailed breakdown of it here, thanks to our very own Ishida-mun. He brings in some other forms of RPG experience, so what follows here is based on it. Might look daunting at first, but a read-through should help; Ishida-mun also included a practical example of his character's power levels based on his explanation.

The level rankings are based on canon terminology and stats, but that is probably easier to judge by than trying to come up with some new levels befitting this RPG.

Please give this a look over. If anyone needs any questions answered, comment here with them so they can be addressed. It'll also serve as a reference guide for anyone with a similar question and to make it easier so that the mods aren't answering the same thing again and again. Not that we'd mind so much.

There will 5 areas of strengths -- Agility, brute strength, energy reserve, magical strength, vitality. Characters are only allowed to excel in 2 areas or less. Everyone must also have 2 areas of weaker talent that would require considerable training or practice. This is to keep everyone's character powers in check and to avoid having over-powered characters. Remember, what the RP stresses on is TEAMWORK.

To all BFMI staff and students:

I, Yamamoto Genryuusai, Headmaster of the Bleach Factor Magical Institution, am proud to announce the reopening of our 2007 school year, and hereby extend my warmest greetings to all the new students who have been accepted into our institute.

As a gesture of welcome, the Institute has prepared for a formal welcome banquet to be held at the Akamiya Function Hall this Saturday at 7pm, to which everyone has been cordially invited to attend.

Please gather at the building entrance hall in formal attire at 6.30pm, where cocktail will be served before the banquet hall opens to a buffet-style dinner. All Heads of Houses have been briefed on this event, therefore, if you have any concerns regarding this, please consult your respective instructor.

[OOC shout-out to all muns involved in the city tour log: Come home soon children~ so you won't miss out on the socializing fun! So lets all finish this real soon ne^^]

Dear BFMI instructors:

Class information is too lengthy to be included in one announcement after all. Therefore, after finalization, please post your class schedules and information on your own personal LJs and tag it with “class info” for your students' reference.

Dear BFMI students:

All class information can be found in your instructors' personal journals tagged under "class info". To locate their contact info, kindly refer to their personal journals.

Kindly be informed that every student and instructor is encouraged to put up their contact information, for both the Institute and others to get in touch with you should the need arise.

For the sake of making adding everyone easier, especially if our numbers start getting bigger, here is the friend add console. Just follow the link, copy and paste the journal names into the box and then click on 'execute' to add everyone at once.

This section is important for all BFMI staff, lecturers and instructors. But students can feel free to read up on this too, so you'll know who to go to for whatever help you may need.

There are updates on post responsibilities here as well, so please read up~ thank you! [And if any instructor feels that their responsibility/workload is going to be too great to be enjoyable, you are allowed to request for a swap. Please let the mods know about this early, and we'll see what we can do ^^]
